Pre-requisite basic-Level AVP Workshop: This is an second-level workshop — full-time participation is required.
Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) is intensive, supportive workshop, addressing conflicts in our current lives. AVP has programs in six Massachusetts prisons, in 35 states, and more than 50 countries. We promote peaceful solutions to conflict and violence or potential violence, both physical and social. The core of AVP is transforming power, which in itself changes lives.
We practice community and skills. You will learn:
• Resolve Daily Conflicts
• Address oppression
• Speak truth in the face of hate
This second-level workshop is the second step to becoming an AVP facilitator for those interested.
Please join us in this exciting opportunity of learning, community and outreach!
