Family Worship for All Ages — (Friends Room / Zoom)

Love Your Neighbor—Connect the Dots

Loading Events

This is our first Family Worship for the school year. Family Worship will continue on first Sundays from October 2025—June 2026.

Join us as we explore the October Theme: “Love Your Neighbor—Connect the Dots” as part of World Quaker Day. We will do introductions, sing, read the children’s book little blue and little yellow by Leo Lionni and talk about it, play a fun game and share a time of waiting worship (and watching). Join us, whether you have a child that can come with you or not.

We welcome adults and children of all ages at Family Worship but are willing to try to provide childcare as well, if you make a request in advance to childcarerequest@fmcquaker.org.

To participate using Zoom, click this link or provide the meeting ID 836 6770 9699 and passcode 794870 (if requested) on Zoom.com, the Zoom app, or after calling 1-646-558-8656. Contact Christel Jorgenson / Holly Lapp at family-worship@fmcquaker.org

Typically the first Sunday of the month (October-June) children and adults gather in the Friends Room and on Zoom for a semi-programmed intergenerational worship experience. We will do introductions, sing, read a story and talk about it, play a game or have an activity and share a time of waiting worship. Join us!

You are cordially invited to share ideas about books and themes we might use in the future. You are invited to join the Family Worship Planning Group to help plan one worship or many. It’s a fun and collaborative process!
