Our meeting has a commitment to stop ICE and its damage to the community. We actively support immigrants. We will form a small assembly line during refreshments to make keychains. If needed, we will also gather to assemble more after the 11am worship concludes. We will be making immigrant keychains for Connexion United Methodist Church and the Somerville immigrant community. The keychains are plastic pockets containing flyers of resources, and civil rights notices recommended by LUCE. Contact Minga Claggett-Borne / Liana Laughlin at forj@fmcquaker.org.
We will be making the keychains during refreshments 10:15–11am between the two meetings for worship on Sunday, April 26. Then again following the 11am meeting.
