The White Privilege Book Group usually meets every 3rd Tuesday 5:00-6:30 pm at FMC.
Please join us to discuss books about white privilege and issues of race. It will be a way, we hope, to help each other build the skills, courage, and stamina to pick away at the walls that go up between cultures and races. This month we will discuss Chapters 1-8 of “So You Want to Talk about Race” by Ijeoma Oluo, a mixture of blunt truths and much-needed hope. Please join us!
For questions contact Cynthia Knowles at firstname.lastname@example.org
I will send out a Zoom link the day before the meeting and will look forward to “seeing” you all then. Until then be well and do what you need to do to find balance. For myself, I am saying lots of prayers for those impacted by these unsettling times, taking walks, meditating faithfully (for a change!), and talking to loved ones.
