Please join us! We will finish “My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Mending of Our Bodies and Hearts,” by Resmaa Menakem with all of Part III– Chapter 18 to the end. Read what you can. We try to tie the reading to our life in community at Friends Meeting at Cambridge. We are an open group. Having read the book will result in getting the most out of our time together, but all are welcome. In addition to discussing the reading, we are sharing about our experience of doing this work and how it plays out in our lives and as Quakers.
Feel free to bring food for yourself. I am grateful for sharing this journey with you! For more information, email Cynthia Knowles at email@example.com.
