Women’s Silent Retreat Group offers retreats during the year for a limited number of women. The description for the most recent retreat in October 2025 says:

“We will gather at Glastonbury Abbey in Hingham, MA for three days of reflection and fellowship from Thursday evening 10/23 at 6:00pm until after lunch on Sunday 10/26. We begin Thursday evening with an opening circle, where each of us shares what we are bringing to the retreat, spiritually, emotionally, materially, whatever. Then we worship and are silent until the end of worship on Sunday morning, when we have closing circle, where we speak of our experience. In between we worship, we eat together in silence, we smile at each other and laugh, passing each other in the hall, or in the kitchen. We sit and read in the library, go for walks, sit in our own rooms to meditate or journal or read or knit, whatever. There is warm fellowship though we are not speaking..”
