JOIN US AS WE EXPLORE THE MAY THEME: Hearing + Attention = Listening. We will be using Gabi Snyder’s wonderful children’s book Listen as our inspiration. We’ll be listening outside ourselves and inside ourselves; we’ll be listening with our ears and our eyes and our hearts. And we’ll be trying to polish up our efforts to pay attention! We’ll be singing, doing introductions, playing a fun gibberish game, reading our story with special sound effects from the audience and doing quiet worship and reflection.
Typically the first Sunday of the month (October-June) children and adults gather in the Friends Room and on Zoom for a semi-programmed intergenerational worship experience. We will do introductions, sing, read a story and talk about it, play a game or have an activity and share a time of waiting worship. Join us!
You are cordially invited to share ideas about books and themes we might use in the future. You are invited to join the Family Worship Planning Group to help plan one worship or many. It’s a fun and collaborative process!
