Family Worship for All Ages (Friends Room / Zoom)

Typically the first Sunday of the month (October-June) children and adults gather in the Friends Room and on Zoom for a semi-programmed intergenerational worship experience. We sing, play games, read a story and talk about it, and have a time of waiting worship. Join us!

High school senior Ruthanna Kern who grew up at FMC attending Family Worship will help lead this month’s semi-programmed worship as we playfully explore themes that arise from the book Stone Girl, Bone Girl: The Story of Mary Anning by Laurence Anholt.

Due to the size of the Friends Room, the typical size of the group that gathers and the fact that we often move around in the room, masks will be required for all over age 2.  We have masks for you to use if you forget to bring yours.

This will be our last Family Worship for the school year. Family Worship will resume on first Sundays from October 2024—June 2025. See you on October 6th!

You are cordially invited to share ideas about books and themes we might consider next year. You are invited to join the Family Worship Planning Group to help plan one worship or many. It’s a fun and collaborative process!

To participate using Zoom, click this link or provide the meeting ID 836 6770 9699 and passcode 794870 (if requested) on Zoom.com, the Zoom app, or after calling 1-646-558-8656.
