Our theme this month is “Count Your Blessings: Name Them One By One.” We’ll be hearing the story Ozkar and the Eight Blessings written by Richard Simon and Tanya Simon. Families will lead and teach us favorite songs. We’ll do several simple activities that will give us a chance to consider the special blessings we’ve offered to others and received from others. Everyone will take home an advent to create at home during the Advent season after creating one together for the Family Worship Community during our time together.

Typically the first Sunday of the month (October-June) children and adults gather in the Friends Room and on Zoom for a semi-programmed intergenerational worship experience. We will do introductions, sing, read a story and talk about it, play a game or have an activity and share a time of waiting worship. Join us!
You are cordially invited to share ideas about books and themes we might use in the future. You are invited to join the Family Worship Planning Group to help plan one worship or many. It’s a fun and collaborative process!
