Community Gatherings to Watch the Film Rustin
(Off site in West Newton and in Central Square, Cambridge).

You are invited to gather to watch the film Rustin in small groups before attending the New England Yearly Meeting event discussing the film. The Bayard Rustin NEYM Legacy Forum Zoom event will take place on on Saturday, February 24, from 1:00-3:00 pm, free, registration required. The forum will not include a screening of the film.

The 2023 movie is 105 minutes long. Learn more about the film and watch the trailer on Netflix here. Bayard Rustin, a Quaker, is challenged by homophobia and racism as he marches and impacts the 1963 March on Washington.

Join with other Friends to watch this dynamic film in the home of Debby Colgan in West Newton or in the home of Minga Claggett-Borne/Jonathan Vogel-Borne in Central Square, Cambridge. RSVPs encouraged by emailing forj@fmcquaker.org
