LGBTQ+ Book Swap & Pronoun Button Giveaway (Friends Room).
March 31 is the International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). This year we will host an LGBTQ+ book swap at FMC in honor of TDOV. Please bring any books on LGBTQ+ themes that you are ready to part with, for community members to take! Stop by the table to browse books, chat, or sign up to get information about the new LGBTQ+ Affinity Group that is being organized.
We will have pronoun buttons for all.
If you would like to drop books off before March 31, please place them in the designated book box in the front hall of the Friends Center. All extra books at the end will be donated to More than Words, a non-profit youth-empowerment bookstore.
