The Friends For Racial Justice Committee, the Peace & Social Justice Committee, and the Stone of Hope Drummers invites one and all to celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by listening to and the discussing a jazz recording that is both very highly regarded as well as beloved.

Kind Of Blue is a recording by the Miles Davis Sextet of five compositions composed by Miles Davis and played by his sextet. In its refinement and restraint “Kind Of Blue” presents five beautiful compositions beautifully played by some of the finest musicians of their era. We will listen to the recording and then share our thoughts and inspirations. The program will be curated by David Doms and Dan Fitzmartin.
