Poetry Book Launch with Alexander Levering Kern (Friends Room / Open Zoom).
Alex will read poems from his debut book What an Island Knows, which traces twenty years on an island in Maine and explores deeper universal (and Quaker) themes of family, community, spirituality, peace and justice, and the healing powers of rest and nature. Enjoy some refreshments and stay to listen to Alex and a couple of other FMC poets share their work. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event or can be ordered here.
