The May/June show, The Ongoing and Relentless Nakba: the Palestinian Catastrophe of 1948 to Today, is a photographic portrayal by Skip Schiel about the forced removal of approximately 750,000 Palestinians in 1948, by Israel, to form its new nation. It highlights how the survivors look currently (2018-2019), where they once lived, and where they live now in West Bank refugee camps. Skip Schiel will be available to talk about his photographs and answer questions while we enjoy refreshments provided by the Exhibits Committee. Contact George Campbell at exhibits@fmcquaker.org
