Toussaint Liberator leads this weekly program focused on learning to play West African rhythms on the djembe drums. Come check out the magic that happens. All levels of drumming experience are welcome. We are an anti-racist group, supporting each other as we learn to transform our lives away from domination towards a new vision. Everyone welcome. Suggested donation: $25 (or pay what you can).
During warmer weather, weather permitting, the Drumming Circle will meet outside on the grounds adjacent to the Meetinghouse. Otherwise, the Drumming Circle will meet inside in the Meetinghouse.
To receive updates about plans for the week (including occasional cancellations), please send an email to stone-of-hope@fmcquaker.org. Drums are available to borrow but bring your own if you have one.
