  • The Memorial Meetings Committee welcomes volunteer help with memorial services, which most often take place on Saturdays. Assignments include handing out parking permits, greeting attendees, mic spacing, set up and plating prep for the reception. For more information, contact Toni Lydecker / SaraSue Pennell at memorials@fmcquaker.org.
  • There is an on-going need for volunteers to help with First Day School on Sunday mornings and childcare during various meeting events including Forum and Afterthoughts and non-Sunday events as well as summer childcare. Our child safety policies require that all volunteers complete a child safety screening process including a background check. Volunteers working with children typically do not work alone except with parental permission. For more information, contact Lauren Mawe at adminmanager@fmcquaker.org.
  • Fellowship & Outreach Committee welcomes volunteers to help with greeting before and after Sunday morning Meeting for Worship. Volunteers arrive at 10:00am and greet worshipers until they enter worship at 10:35am and then greet newcomers after announcements until 12:00 pm. For more information, contact Holly Lapp at fellowship@fmcquaker.org.
  • The Simple Lunch Team welcomes occasional and regular volunteers to help with Simple Lunch food shopping, meal prep, meal setup and meal cleanup. Our Simple Lunches include a vegan soup, salad, bread and hummus. Cooks especially needed. Prep begins at 8:30 am. For more information, contact Tom Sander / Alasdair Post-Quinn at simplelunch@fmcquaker.org.
  • Refreshment volunteers are needed to help with making coffee, setting out beverages/snacks and cleaning up refreshments. Training provided. Some volunteers bring food donations; others use food provided by FMC. Typically volunteers work as a team with at least one experienced volunteer as part of the team. Occasional and regular volunteers are needed. For more information, contact Holly Lapp at fellowship@fmcquaker.org.
  • Several committee/groups are designing new and updated brochures. Volunteers are sought to help with brochure layout and graphics. Contact Amy Mercure at office@fmcquaker.org.
