Climate Action Planning Meeting (Open Zoom)
Please attend this planning meeting where we will prepare for our upcoming Climate Action meetings on 4th Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Our goal is educating ourselves about the climate crisis and what people are doing about it, then sharing what we learn with our community, both at FMC and elsewhere. In particular, we are devising a strategy of using digital media and social networks to amplify what we are doing.
Our initial focus will be through “Climate Heroes” where we choose a climate justice activist and then learn through their work and amplify their message. We are hoping and expecting that through this learning and sharing that we will discover what more we can do individually and collectively.
