Dear FMC Community,
The Pastoral Care Team is mindful of our commitment to providing support to individuals and our FMC community during challenging times. This past week has been one of those times as we all grapple with a range of emotions in response to current tragic events. The history of this conflict, the images we are seeing, the stories we are hearing may impact each of us differently. Coming together in worship and an opportunity for worship sharing allows us to serve as witness to the pain, to support each other, and to hold all of those impacted by this conflict in the Light.
The Pastoral Care Team is inviting our FMC community to join us for a period of silent worship and an opportunity for worship sharing on Friday, October 20 at 3:00 p.m. We will gather on the open zoom link for an hour of time together. We encourage all of those who are able to do so to come together for this time of prayer, contemplation and sharing.
